Ugh! I have got to vent, am I being unfair in being upset about this? This person hasn’t even been trained yet, I’ve only met her once for about three minutes and I’m totally pissed. I took five days of vacation time last week and when I got back today I see a note from our new hire that reads:

(My Name, SPELLED WRONG)- Complete the following tasks:

1. Clean bathrooms
2. Replace _______ in all ________.
3. One section at a time, remove all _______ and clean shelving.
4. Seal and polish floor behind the counter.
5. Clearn and organize all of the shelving in the back.

The windows were cleaned this week inside and out so they should be fine.

And that’s it, the note in its entirety. Who does she think she is? She also changed EVERYTHING in the store…..to NOT match planorgam. Am I being stupid or do I have a right to be f*****g pissed?!?!!?

What do you think was going to happen if I had gone in to the bathroom with him?

I was helping a friend who was having an estate sale, there was this big fat Mexican that wanted to know the price of the bedroom set, so I went into the bedroom with him and was explaining the price of the bed, headboard, nightstand, etc., when he pulled out a wad of cash and asked me to go in the bathroom with him. His wife was outside looking at the patio furniture and it was just me and him in the room. I sort of freaked out and got out of there fast and went and hid upstairs until he and his wife left. Later I started wondering if maybe I should have gone in the bathroom with him because it was a very large wad of cash, and I could use some extra money. Just want to know what other people think about this in case it ever happens again so i’ll know what to do.
Yes, this really happened.

OK, so I got a little too drunk (big suprise) and fell over some furniture, insulted some people, burned a hole in the carpet, pee’d on the bathroom floor and wrapped up the night with intense projectile vomiting into the swimming pool. The hosts sent word by way of a mutual friend that I was never to set foot in their house ever again and they hoped the next time they saw me would be at my funeral. Should I be mad or insulted? I, for one, think I am the life of any party and everyone enjoys hearing about my adventures (read some of my 360 blogs). I have considered going to their house, standing on their lawn and belching an apology but my friend Sonny says that would go very, very, badly, (I think it would be funny and help ease tensions). Any suggestinon about how I can get back into their good graces so I can hang out at their pool?
Well, Sonny told me the next day that I managed to break a dining room chair that night. I thought about sending one of mine over to replace it but I don’t think it would match (got mine at a yard sale). Maybe I could drop by with a couple of cases of beer and see how that goes.
One final note: it seems that I also managed to expose myself to most of the people at the party by standing on top of bar that was set up outside and dropping my pants (and not having the ability to pull them back up, which is why I fell). I sure was looking forward to a long summer of hanging out and swimming in that great pool.
