My girls are almost 4 and 3 years old and have long, beautiful hair- because of that all our family and friends are always buying cute little barrettes, clips, ponytail holders, headbands etc. They almost always receive matching sets. We are very appreciative for their gifts, but the accessories are taking over the girls’ bathroom cabinet!! It feels as though there are enough to do all the girls hair at any given elementary school!

Please help! I would love to hear some ideas as to how I can organize and store all these wonderful hair accessories and still be able to get to them when in a time crunch! I am grateful for your time and suggestions! Thank you in advance!

My vanity is a medium to dark oak and want to give it more of a cherry look. Should I sand it all, or just clean it good and do a finish that is a color stain and ply all in one, like the Minwax polyshades?
