I just adopted her today and we aren’t going to have her declawed, and we might try soft paws but not until she’s fully grown if we can help it. Me and my mom are going to try to trim her claws tonight, but that might not work. She’s 8 weeks old and likes to climb. She actually hasn’t climbed on the couch yet cause she tends to stay in my room and the bathroom but she’s killing my bedspread and pillows lol. And she has a fascination with the cords hanging around…just pop her on the head and teach her no? What do you suggest?
CF, I’ve got nothing against declawing. She isn’t going to be declawed because I feel she is too old (they said she was 8 weeks old, but I feel that she is older) and it costs too much, as she was 70 dollars to adopt. The only cord she keeps having interest in is my laptop cord, because she is on the bed with me and is all around on things.

I remember hearing about the water bottle trick, I have one on my dresser. I’ll remember that. We’ve had scratching posts before for our cats, but they never seem to want to use them. If I can find a cheap one though I’ll get one.

My boyfriend and I just got our first new apartment ever. I’ve only ever lived with my parents and in dorms so I don’t know of all the things that are necessary for a home. I have the essentials like bed, couch, tv stand, table, bedding, bathroom accessories, pots and pans, dinnerware, etc. but what else would I need? I keep thinking “Oh! Ice cube trays!” or water pitchers, ironing board…

What are some suggestions for the little odds and ends we would need or would at least make life convenient?

we just got a rescued dog about 2 months ago. He is a 2 year old neutered poodle. we were told he is house trained. He was pretty good about going to bathroom outside till recently he had one accident in the house.

Till then he is having accidents too often. He is starting to **** on our couch. Why is he pooping on the furniture?
our two year old poodle that is a rescued dog is having issues. He is very curious about everything and everyone. He’s not had good owners in the past so he tends to be afraid a lot.

we notice he goes **** and *** when he is nervous or scared. He is house trained but recently he has been pooping in the house. He WILL NOT **** out side. Also he poops on our couch. Why is he doing this? He goes *** outside though. Could it be that he is confused? how could I fix this problem?
