Have a new home and the master bedroom and bathroom are white. It has vaulted ceilings and it’s pretty big, but it’s too much white. What colors should I paint it? My downstairs is two tone tan color; very neutral. I have black furniture in the bedroom. I don’t want anything too contemporary… I’d prefer a soft, romantic look and am horrible with decorating. Thanks!
And should I paint the ceiling as well? It’s painted in my downstairs and looks nice.

In my master bathroom (attached to master bedroom) I have vanity lights (only lighting in the bathroom), a fan, and one outlet. The fan and the vanity lights are separate units. Last night, there was a thunderstorm and lightning, but given the circumstances, I don’t think it’s causing my problem. Last night, I turned off my lights and fan, and when I attempted to turn them on again, they did not work. The outlet, which I believe would be connected to the same power source as the lights and fan, does work. I attempted to switch all the circuit breakers on and off to no avail. FYI the circuit breaker is for the entire master bedroom, or at least labeled as so; so I would assume it encompasses the master bathroom as well. My guess would be it should be related to the switch, since it is related only to the lights and fan, and not the sole outlet. Can anybody else think of any other possibilities or suggestions what to do?

My husband and I want to remodel our master bathroom (the bedroom is fine) but it’s extremely tiny! Unless we start knocking down walls, there is literally, no place to increase space or install a bathtub which I really want. Anyway, I was thinking about hiring a bathroom designer to integrate the bathroom with our master bedroom. I’d like to use vanities and tubs that don’t look like bathroom fixtures but instead like furniture or works of art. I think this would blend better. Does anyone have any links or pictures to this type of room? Thanks.
